Submit your creative work to potentially be featured in our school’s Literary Journal!
If you haven’t heard already, our school’s Literature Society publishes a Literary Journal each school year. Any student can submit a work to be considered for the final published copy. Below are the Literary Journal Submission Guidelines:
- Deadline: Friday, February 7. Submit anytime before then.
- Poetry, short stories, art, and nonfiction (includes college essays).
- Art: take a picture of it and upload it onto a Google doc. The photo must be in black and white; cover art may be in color. Share the Google doc with [email protected]
- Writing: place in the submission box in the Mr. Major’s room AND share with [email protected]
- Provide a title for your work as well as your grade level.
- Asking for originality, no themes in particular.
- If chosen, your name will be posted on the list outside Mr. Major’s room and your work will be published.
- Questions should be directed to any editor:
- Poetry- Natalie Hazapis
- Fiction- Alissa Buhovecky
- Art- Sophia Ricaurte
- Nonfiction- Teagan Walsh
- If you are interested in becoming a future editor, contact a current editor.
