If you haven’t heard already, our school’s Literature Society publishes a Literary Journal each school year. Any student can submit a work to be considered for the final published copy. Below are the Literary Journal Submission Guidelines:

  • Poetry, short stories, art, and nonfiction (includes college essays).
  • Art: take a picture of it and upload it onto a Google doc. The photo must be in black and white; cover art may be in color. Share the Google doc with [email protected]
  • Writing: place in the submission box in the Mr. Major’s room AND share with [email protected]
  • Provide a title for your work as well as your grade level.
  • Asking for originality, no themes in particular.
  • If chosen, your name will be posted on the list outside Mr. Major’s room and your work will be published.
  • Deadline: Friday, February 7. Submit anytime before then
  • Questions should be directed to any editor:
    • Poetry- Natalie Hazapis
    • Fiction- Alissa Buhovecky
    • Art- Sophia Ricaurte
