This Saturday, February 10th, 2018, the Westlake swim team had a fantastic Sectionals meet at Cleveland State University’s Robert F. Busbey Natatorium, one of the fastest pools in northern Ohio. Swim team Coach Emily Stephenson explained after the meet how most of the team was dropping good amounts of time. Swimmers who improved their times the most include, the girls medley A relay, Madison Stanca and Bridget Quinn in their 200 yd free races, Jacob Wiley and Jack Williams in their 200 yd free races, Isabella McFadden in her 200 yd IM and 100 yd breatstroke, Patrick Lee in the 200 yd IM and 100 yd butterfly, Erin Kelleher in the 100 yd butterfly, Luke Heberle in the 100 yd butterfly, Olivia Irwin in the 500 yd free, Isabelle Sanchez and Isabelle Tinline in their 100 yd backstroke races, Stephen Blair and Lance Clemons in the 100 yd breaststroke, and the boys 400 yd freestyle relay.
