What is your best high school memory?
Probably the most recent state send off because when Eliza and I were walking through the hallways we had a lot of the senior class cheering for us and supporting us.
What were your favorite classes/ teachers?
I loved Anatomy with Mr. Ohnhaus and Mrs. Rothkegel and all of her business classes.
What are your plans for your future?
I plan on going to college for business and I would like to eventually open a smoothie shop in Oahu.
What sports do you play?
I do gymnastics and track and field. Specifically, I pole vault and run the 4×1
When did you start gymnastics and why did you continue with it?
I started at 5 years old and I fell in love with it. It clicked with me. I wanted to learn how to flip and learn cool tricks that I always saw on T.V during the Olympics.
How many injuries have you gotten from gymnastics/ sports?
Ok, well I had severs (injury to heel), I pulled my hamstring twice, my back was fractured, my wrists, rolled ankles, and potentially several broken toes.
What is the hardest part about being involved in multiple sports?
Probably just balancing time and disciplining yourself to fully get your work done and not half doing it because both your academics and sports mean a lot. So you have to put your full time and effort into everything you do.
What’s your favorite movie?
Jurassic Park
What’s your favorite type of music?
Early 2000s Pop Rock and of course I love Harry Styles.
If you could travel anywhere in the world where would it be?
I’d love to go to Bali in Indonesia and the Maldives and stay in one of those huts on the water.
What is one thing you wished people knew about you?
When you get to know me, I’m not as scary as people think I am because I’ve realized a lot of people are scared of me. Apparently I look really serious, but really I love to laugh and meet new people.
What will you miss most about Westlake?
My friends and the energy we give each other to get through the year. Just knowing were there for each other whether to complain, help each other out, or hyping each other up. That sort of energy.
What is one thing you wished you’d done in high school?
I guess I just wish I could have been more outgoing from the beginning and met new people. Just sort of broaden the experience.
One quote you live by?
Carpe diem
